• What

Phenadoz is in a family of drugs called phenothiazines. • Side Effects

The most common side effects associated with use of the drug Phenadoz include drowsiness, ringing in the ears, dizziness, nervousness, dry mouth, double vision, tiredness, or sleeping problems. Seek medical help if you notice severe symptoms such as severe drowsiness, shallow breathing, lightheadedness, confusion, agitation, nightmares, hallucinations, seizures, fast or slow heartbeats, jaundice, uncontrolled facial movements, bruising, bleeding, malaise, fever, chills, sore throat, mouth sores, red or swollen gums, trouble swallowing, or a severe nervous system reaction.

• Missed Dosage

Insert the dose that you missed as soon as you remember to do so. If the time has nearly come for your next scheduled dose, skip the dose that you missed and take only the next one. Do not insert any extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

• Storage

Keep suppositories in the refrigerator so that they do not melt, but be sure not to allow them to freeze or their efficacy may be compromised.

• Overdose

Upon a Phenadoz overdose, you may experience loss of coordination, overactive reflexes, severe drowsiness or weakness, fainting, dilated pupils, weak or shallow breathing, or seizures. Try to get to an emergency room or call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.

Warnings

Do not use Phenadoz to treat anyone younger than two years old. It may be fatal or cause severe breathing problems for children who are too young. This medicine may impair your ability to think and react normally, an effect which may worsen if you consume alcohol.
