What is Luvox CR?
Luvox CR is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It is most commonly prescribed to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder. It works by affecting the absorption of the brain chemical serotonin, which helps decrease unwanted thoughts and minimizes the urge to perform repetitive tasks. How do I take Luvox CR?

What are the possible side effects of taking Luvox CR?
Side effects of Luvox CR may include dizziness, drowsiness, mild nausea, loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping, and excessive sweating. These side effects usually go away on their own, but let your doctor know if you have any side effects that persist or interfere with your daily activities. Contact your doctor right away if you experience a fast heart rate, decreased libido, tremors, muscle pain, or easy bruising or bleeding, as these may be signs of a more serious problem. Get medical attention immediately if you experience unusual vision changes, seizures, very dark stools or vomit, severe dizziness, hallucinations, or muscle tics.
What if I forget to take a dose of Luvox CR?
Take the missed dose of Luvox CR as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. If this is the case, skip the missed dose and get back to your normal routine. Do not take more of this medication than you normally would for a single dose.
How do I store Luvox CR?
Store Luvox CR in a tightly sealed container at room temperature. Do not leave it anywhere that children or pets could easily access it.
